HOT TUB MOVING AGREEMENT

Thank you for choosing MOVE-A-SPA. By submitting the move-request form, you confirm that you reviewed and accept all terms below and have informed every involved buyer, seller, or property owner.

INSURANCE - There is no insurance that covers used hot tubs. All moves are at your own risk. We use professional equipment designed specifically for moving hot tubs. We make every effort to not damage your hot tub in any way. However we are not responsible for any damages including total destruction of your property. 

PAYMENT — The full agreed amount is due when the move is completed. We accept cash, ACH, credit cards, Cash App, PayPal, and Venmo.

PHOTOS & ACCESS — Send pictures of the hot tub and access path at both pickup and drop-off locations. Estimates made without an in-person inspection are site-unseen and may change for stairs, decks, fence removal, steep hills, tight access, or other hazards.

DRAIN & DISCONNECT — The spa must be fully drained before arrival or additional labor is $100 per hour. Disconnect and safely secure electrical wiring. We only remove wires from the spa circuit board and do not disconnect or reconnect household breakers or mounted disconnects.

HOT TUB CONDITION — Hot-tub moves carry risk. A hot tub has been sitting for years, and often the condition will deteriorate in ways you are not aware of. Rotten structure, loose internal parts, pre-existing defects, and unavoidable cosmetic scuffs can cause damage. MOVE-A-SPA is not responsible for cosmetic damage, lost accessories, repairs, replacement parts, or even total destruction. We have no way of knowing the functionality of the hot tub before the move, or the spa’s functionality after the move. Again there is no insurance covers new or 20 year old used hot-tubs. Customers may purchase their own day policy.

PROPERTY — MOVE-A-SPA is not responsible for damage to lawns, decking, fencing, gates, sprinkler or irrigation systems, lighting, plants, furniture, decorations, or other property. Remove or protect your own vulnerable items before arrival.

PEOPLE, PETS & VERMIN — Anyone who helps does so at their own risk. We are not responsible for any bodily injury you incur. Remove pets from the work area and inspect your hot tub and property for bees, wasps, snakes, or other hazards before the crew arrives.

FULL AGREEMENT — The person booking the move is responsible for communicating these terms to every other party involved. Submitting the form constitutes acceptance of all terms.
